Blogging Made Easy (and FREE)

Blogging Made Easy (and FREE)

by hyzat

Hi everyone. Since the last few days, I have been spending my sweet time back at my hometown with my parents. I cant recall when was the last time we seat and dine together. It is really a good time, particularly when it is no longer a common thing that you can do always. Well, it is normal for man to takes things for granted. You will only cherish things when it is difficult to get. Ok. Enough for my story. ;) .

In this short posting I would like to share with you some of the very resourceful websites that I personally benefit from, when it comes to setting up my blog. Blogging is suppose not to be too difficult to learn. It is not a rocket science. However one might get sweating if you try to do it ALL on your own WITHOUT any guidance whatsoever. And I tell you you can get so much tutorial of good qualities for FREE on the internet. Yes, I know there are also bunch of the paid one. But honestly, while they might be good, but for you to set up a simple and workable blog just like mine, you DO NOT need to pay for all those tutorials/guides. Unless you want to move your game to the next level, I advice you to go for these free tutorials.

And this one is my favorite

Why? Because not only the VIDEO tutorial is about building a Wordpress Blog but also on other related topics like Domain and Hosting, crafting Landing Page, Article Marketing, Photoshop etc. One-stop-center for me.

Anyway, you may try any one of them and choose whichever best for you. BUT, take this piece of advice from me… It is good enough for you to go for one source and start from there. Only if you need for extra info which is not available in the first source, then your go for the rest. Why? simply because to avoid the the overloaded of informations. Remember? You do not need to know everything to get things done. And believe me you can get started just from any of the sources mentioned above.

Let me know if you find this info is helpful. ;) Till then!

Thanks so much for the useful resources Nyzat.

I have actually just left a comment over at Austin Delaney’s blog on how I can streamline the appearance of my blog…. I am so not happy with it.

One of Alex Jeffrey’s Class of 2008 – The Rat Pack has been awarded an accolade. You’d better drop by to see who it is….!!!

Until next time….thanks once again for the useful links

Hey Hyzat!

Looks like you’re getting up to speed. A lot of nice features on your blog, and still it looks clean and tidy.

Just one little thing, you’ve missed updating your about site, that needs a fix, otherwise, Great Job!!!

Hey Hyzat!

About your question over at my blog. The about section on your site is managed under the Manage Tab. Once there there is a sub category called Pages. Click on it and you’ll see a link to edit your about page.

Pages are simply webpages. They’re useful for information you wish to share but not to be commented on. Such as a presentation of yourself or your business or salesletter or whatever else you can think of.

all the best

Hi Hyzat,

Great post and your blog is really taking shape now.

Just put up another video (no stopping me now :) ) about a great plugin that adds an aweber optin box to your posts. I have had a few more subscribers since using it, so it is worth taking a look.

See you on the webinar!

Cheers
Mark

That’s a great post to your blog and I think part of the secret to getting people coming back to your blog again and again. You have inspired me to add more resources to my blog too.
